How to wear Diamonds for different occasions
You know what, Marylin Monrone was right... Diamonds are a girls best friend! I do love a diamond action to jazz up an outfit, but wearing diamonds is a skill my friends, you get it wrong (and trust me I know) you could end up looking very ridicolous, but fear not! I have created a handy little guide of what type of diamonds to wear to achive a certain look
Or if you don't think hair clips would suit you, try a set of small diamond earrings, I got mine from Sainsburys for £5 and I think they are so beautiful and when they catch the light, they look incredible, plus with earrings you won't need to worry about them sliding out on the tube!
I love these so much, I love the colours and the composition of the diamonds. I like how the diamonds also catch the light and the colours that reflect in the light as well. I also love how it reminds me of Gothic and I always think the necklace reminds me of a bat.
I wear this with a navy blue dress, navy tights and big chunky wedge heels. Here's me wearing it during a performance on a music tour to Leipzig.
What song to listen to for trying these outfits out:
Diamonds to wear to work/ school:
Lets be honest, you have to look smart to work but not to smart that everyone thinks that your going to see Lord Sugar, but really you are adding sugar to your coffee! Or if your in school, like me, you wear to many diamonds to school the likely chance you'll be told to take them out and also to have a detention with your head of year... oh the troubles of beauty!
So my advice is to go for small accessories that you can easily get away with in what ever establishment you are in.
Hair magazine sent me these adorable little diamond clips that will turn any dull office outfit to a simple yet fabulous ensemble! Sadly I couldn't find out the exact brand but you will easily be able to find something similar in places like accessorize and Claires (oh sorry, I am not very photogenic but hey ho!)
Diamonds to catch attention:
If there's one way of catching attention is with diamonds that will catch the light or diamonds that are so big that they are impossible to miss.
My big statement is this gorgeous set of black, silver and red necklace and earrings that my brother got me for Christmas from Dorthy Perkins.

Make up:
Now this one was very tricky! But I think I found a nice little technique to use to add some glizt to your make up!
You need a bottle of black nail polish and a glittery nail polish, I got mine from Peacocks, inexpensive but also really really good! Paint two coats of black polish and wait for it to dry completely, then take your glittery nail polish and apply a coat of that, wait for that to dry. If you want to add more glitter than go ahead and knock yourself out! But if you don't live on the wild side of life, just add a clear coat of nail varnish and wait for it to dry, and there you have it!
